DELIVERY METHODS AND CHARGES

We have recently reduced our delivery rates, passing on the reduction in our costs directly to our customers.

Delivery rates are calculated on a combination of size and weight and vary from product to product.

Delivery is calculated based on the number of items that you purchase and vary from product to product. Your delivery charge for your selection will be clearly shown in your shopping basket before any charge is made to your card.

Standard Delivery Charges (UK Mainland Only)

Our basic shipping / delivery charge is £12.50 and is inline with what our couriers charge us. Please check delivery charges as you add goods to the basket and ensure you select the appropriate shipping method. Basically it is based on weight and quantity which is how our couriers charge us.

If customers so wish, with notice, we will accept collections from our premises by third party couriers. Please contact us when placing your order if you wish to exercise this option.

PLEASE NOTE - That while we monitor the performance of our courier, no deilivery (standard or timed) can be guaranteed to arrive on time. Shop4windowfilms are unable to give any compensation for consequential losses resulting from a late or failed deilvery as this is under courier control.

UK DELIVERIES - APC

APC courier logistics:
Most deliveries will be dispatched normally within 5-7 working days (ex weekends) of order - providing materials are in stock. WE DO HOWEVER try to dispatch orders as soon as possible and try to achieve next day turn around delivery to you - again this is based on available current stock levels - please call to ensure we can meet your order.

APC aim to deliver NEXT WORKING DAY, between 8:30 am and 5:30pm (weekdays Mon-Fri). They do not specify delivery times.

APC's aim is to deliver the consignment and not to take it back to the depot, if at all possible.

The driver will try up to 2 houses, either side of the delivery property they are delivering to, and asked the occupant to accept the delivery. The occupant doesn’t have to accept the consignment.

The aim of leaving the consignment with a neighbour is to save any inconvenience to the client, having to contact the depot to arrange a second attempt delivery or collection from your local depot.

If this is not suitable and you prefer your order to be delivered to the ONLY delivery address provided, please specify this on your order. Do not to deliver to your next door neighbours/no. x house.

This information can be submitted in the text box at the bottom of the address page asking for “Additional Information” – this is where you can specify, “please do not deliver to my neighbours”, or “delivery to this address only”.
NOTE: we will, and are, NOT held responsible or liable for deliveries that do NOT make your deilvery address if you nominate a neighbouring address or other than the order form deilvery address. You yourself are responsible for this change and you are liable for any losses. We, shop4windowfilms, cannot re-emburse or resend materials based on you nominating 'an-other' or other address be it next door. With this in mind you should be advised that you should ensure there is someone at the delivery address or follow the instructions on the card the delivery driver has left.

**PLEASE NOTE**
ONCE YOUR CONSIGNMENT IS DESPATCHED FROM OUR WAREHOUSE WE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR FAILED DELIVERIES FOR -

(A) YOU NOT BEING IN (APC WILL CARD YOU IF YOU ARE NOT IN).

(B) FAILED OR MISSING DELIVERIES EVEN IF THEY ARE SIGNED FOR - THIS SHOULD BE TAKEN UP WITH US IN THE FIRST INSTANCE AND WE WILL PASS YOUR ENQUIRY ON TO APC TO INVESTIGATE.

(C) FAILED DELIVERY BECAUSE THE DELIVERY ADDRESS WAS INCORRECTLY SUBMITTED ON YOUR ORDER. (it is your responsibility to ensure that you enter delivery address details correctly).

IF YOUR PARCEL/CONSIGNMENT IS OR GOES MISSING BUT IS SIGNED FOR AS DELIVERED AND IS NOT AN ARRANGED DELIVERY TO SOMEONE OTHER THAN YOURSELF A REFUND WILL NOT BE GIVEN. A REFUND WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED AFTER A PERIOD OF 15-25 WORKING DAYS AFTER YOU CONTACT US REGARDING A MISSING CONSIGNMENT SO WE CAN GET APC TO INVESTIGATE.

IF YOU ARE NOT IN, MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS WILL BE MADE BY THE COURIER/S TO CONTACT YOU VIA A CARD OR PHONE CALL WHEREBY YOU CAN ARRANGE TO COLLECT YOUR ORDER FROM YOUR LOCAL DEPOT - ADDRESS/PHONE NUMBER ON CARD OR CONTAINED WITHIN THE VOICEMAIL/EMAIL.

IF THE CONSIGNMENT IS STILL NOT DELIVERED AND ALL ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT YOU FAIL, THE CONSIGNMENT WILL BE RETURNED TO SHOP4WINDOWFILMS WHEREBY YOU WILL BE LIABLE FOR A RE-SHIPPING FEE.

OVERSEAS DELIVERIES - ROYAL MAIL, PARCELFORCE & APC (or partners)

Most deliveries will be received within 10 - 14 working days of order. Please contact us to get a quote for delivery charges.

Should you wish to arrange collection from ourselves use the Collection Option in the shopping cart. Please allow 48 hours for preparation of your products. We will e mail you with confirmation that your order is ready for collection or you can contact us on 0843 298 1836 during normal working hours with special requirements.

*For rolls of film, deliveries to non-mainland addresses, that still have a UK post code will be subject to an additional over water charge - see basket when ordering.

#For larger or heavier shipments it may be neccessary to employ specialist packaging or courier services. shop4windowfilms retain the right to select the most cost effective method of delivery of goods, which may incur additional costs to the customer. These costs will be notified, in advance, to the customer. Goods will not be despatched without authorisation for any additional charges incurred using specialist delivery methods.
